
STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Lisa Marie Lesyshen has been arrested on charges of first-degree murder, child abuse causing death and domestic violence.
The arrest warrant was issued at 3 p.m. Friday, and Lesyshen, who remains hospitalized on the Front Range, was advised of her rights, Routt County Undersheriff Ray Birch said.
It is unclear when Lesyshen might be released from the hospital and whether she would be transported to another medical facility or to jail.
Lesyshen, 45, is accused of at their Stagecoach home about 15 miles south of Steamboat. Police say she then attempted to take her own life. She was found unconscious and was rushed to Yampa Valley Medical Center and then airlifted to a Denver hospital.
