Ceremonies are 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sunday, June 22 and June 23, and are $25 for garden members, $30 nonmembers. Almost wherever you are, there’s a garden tour Saturday. The first: the 2013 Enchanted Gardens Tour of Northwest Denver. It’s 9 a.m.-4 p.m. with after-party and features 30 gardens; tickets $15, conflictcenter.org. The second: The Park Hill Garden Walk, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $15; pick them and a map up at the Art Garage, 6100 E. 23rd Ave., starting at 9:30 a.m. (greaterparkhill.org). The third: A tour in Boulder to benefit 131-year-old Whittier School, the oldest in Colorado continuously operating in one location. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., eight gardens, $15. The Aurora History Museum and Morrison Nature Center host an exhibition on the history, management and survival of these wild canids, opening Tuesday and continuing through Sept. 29. Touch skulls and casts of tracks, and watch a video on how to “haze” a coyote (i.e., persuade it to prowl elsewhere). The museum is at 15051 E. The essence of spirituals
Reap: The National Conference on the Spirituals, taking place at the University of Denver, has evening sessions open to the public Thursday, Friday and June 15. The culmination is the conference keynote and finale June 15, featuring Nikki Giovanni and Jacqueline Hairston.
