Adams County prosecutors have dropped charges against a second woman who was facing charges in the death of 4-year-old Gabriel Trujillo.
Lana Roberts, 49, was charged with child abuse resulting in death. Roberts was living in the same home where prosecutors had alleged Gabriel was being abused.
Sue Lindsay, spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office, confirmed that prosecutors dropped the charges. Roberts’ trial was scheduled to start Monday.
