A fire burning in Coal Creek Canyon Thursday has been 100 percent contained. One house was destroyed.

The fire, named the Lillis Lane fire by authorities, is in the foothills of Jefferson County, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

About 920 phones were called in the Ranch Elsie area for a level one evacuation — be ready to leave — the sheriff’s office said.

The cause and origin are under investigation.

There were no reports of injuries.
