Not counting last year’s sheet music collection, “,” it’s been five years since ‘s last album hit shelves. But that’s about to change.

, Beck’s set to release two new albums: an acoustic album similar to 1994’s “One Foot in the Grave,” and a proper follow-up to 2008’s “Modern Guilt.” The acoustic album is slated for a fall release. No release date has been given for the latter.

Ahead of those LPs, Beck has shared two standalone singles (i.e. independent and non-representative of both upcoming releases) so far: “Defriended,” an electronic-leaning one-off, and “I Won’t Be Long,” a “Modern Guilt”-y track that just popped up on his YouTube account this morning. Listen to both below.

If you’re spending July 4th in London (note: qualifies as high treason in some parts of the U.S), you can catch Beck performing “Songbook Reader” with help from a gaggle of high-profile musicians like Jarvis Cocker, and Franz Ferdinand.

Otherwise, look for him on his brief, East Coast summer tour:

7/27 Wantagh, NY – Americanarama at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater (special acoustic set)

7/28 Newport, RI – Newport Folk Festival (special acoustic set)

8/2 Boston, MA – Bank of America Pavilion (full band/electric show)

8/4 Brooklyn, NY – Celebrate Brooklyn at Prospect Park (full band/electric show)

Beck – “I Won’t Be Long”

Beck – “Defriended”
