A family from Colorado was among the people rescued from a glacier in Alaska on Friday morning, according to Nick Bissett.
Bissett told 7NEWS his parents, sister and her family took a sightseeing flight of Mount McKinley on Tuesday. The flight was scheduled to have a brief glacier landing, but instead, they got stranded on the glacier for three nights.
said a group of six tourists and their pilot, John Nealon of Talkeetna Air Taxi, were forced to land on the Ruth Glacier by bad weather.
