Two Colorado brands are uniting in a unique partnership that will see Boulder’s delivering anticipated new tunes through ’s beers.

Salmon will release its latest polyethnic Cajun slamgrass songs through download codes available in Breckenridge’s Sampler Packs from today through October. The band – which played its first show in 1989, mere months before Breckenridge Brewery tapped its first keg – will release four new tunes. Salmon played the first song available through the Breckenridge deal – the foot-stomping “High Country” – at last weekend’s Winter Park’s SolShine Music Festival, riling the capacity crowd with its groovy slamgrass jam.

The Salmon-tuned Breck 12-packs also will include rock art coasters crafted by well known artists. Everyone who downloads the tunes will be entered in a contest with prizes that include a paid trip to the band’s just-announced Thanksgiving shows at the Boulder Theater and a band-signed acoustic guitar by Andrew White Guitars.
