ESTES PARK, Colo.—Sheriff’s officials say two bear cubs that got into the bathroom of a home in Estes Park have been freed.
KMGH-TV in Denver reports ( ) the cubs somehow got trapped in the home Friday while their mother paced outside.
The resident was home when the cubs came in and called sheriff’s officials. The corporal on scene reported the cubs were so small that both fit in the bathroom sink.
The homeowner wasn’t hurt, and the cubs were free. Sheriff’s deputies left so they could reunite with their mother.
