We saw some wet roads this morning as a few cells pushed through northwest Denver and Lakewood. Look for temperatures to slowly climb into the mid-70s by lunch. The sun will peak through occasionally, with more clearing this afternoon.
We’ll see a few more scattered storms and showers again this afternoon, but most of the rain will be in the mountains and across southwestern Colorado. There’s about a 30 percent chance of storms in Denver after lunch. Temperatures will be cooler for the start of the week, too. In fact, the coolest day in over a month — Denver’s high will be 80 degrees. (Sunday’s high was 83).
The southwestern corner of the state will be under a Flash Flood Watch this afternoon and evening.
