Eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 70 are closed at York Street after a semi-truck rolled over and caught fire at about 9:30 p.m.

Other cars also were involved in the crash, but only three minor injuries were reported and the fire was extinguished quickly, said Denver police Sgt. Betty Hale.

She could not estimate when the interstate would reopen, but she said at 10 p.m. a lengthy delay was not expected. The truck did not spill its cargo, Hale said, adding that she was not aware of what it was hauling.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
