
The average cost of a gallon of gasoline in Denver on Sunday was 15 cents lower than the average cost nationally.

Prices in Denver on Sunday were 5.6 cents a gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 5 cents a gallon cheaper than a month ago.
The national average has increased 14.4 cents a gallon during the last month and stands 3.3 cents a gallon higher than a year ago.
“Over the last week, the national average has continued to a see a ever so slow downward trend,” said Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst for GasBuddy.
“But the downward trend got a shot in the arm last weekend, as we saw the biggest daily drop since April. From July 25 to July 26, the average dropped 1.5 cents,” said DeHaan.
GasBuddy operates and more than 250 similar websites that track gasoline prices at more than 140,000 gasoline stations in the United States and Canada.
