After finally , has released the first track from its upcoming sophomore record. The new Cults song is called “I Can Hardly Make You Mine” and will be on “Static,” which is due out on Oct. 15.
The indie pop band headlined The Denver Post’s shortly before announcing the new album. The UMS was one of the band’s few tour dates this year along with Bonnaroo and Boston Calling.
The new Cults song has Madeline Follin’s distinctly cute vocals, but the instrumentation is a tad darker and heavier than fans might remember. This darker aesthetic fits with the horror movie
