Just a few days before its slated Nov. 5 release,  has posted a stream of her new album, “Matangi,” on YouTube.

The album’s release comes on the heels of a year of public squabbling between the rapper and her label, Interscope.  “Matangi” was initially set for a late-2012 release, but Interscope apparently deemed the album “too dark,” according to the artist’s interview with Australian publication Goldcoast. After an April 2013 release fell through, and threatened to leak the album herself if the label didn’t stop dragging their feet.

LP purgatory seems to have taken its toll on the artist. In a recent interview with BBC 1’s Zane, she said “Matangi” will likely be M.I.A.’s last traditional full-length. “Itap just one of those things where I’ve given up at this point,” she said. “I was literally going to start putting out records from my bedroom. This was my last stab at it—I’m going to hand it in and wait for it to go out the way albums go out. If I didn’t get it out right now, I would’ve definitely exploded.”
