Denver police are investigating a stabbing that happened late Wednesday afternoon south of the state Capitol building.
A man was stabbed around 5:30 p.m. in the area of 1309 Grant Street, according to John White, Denver police spokesman.
A suspect is in custody, White said.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, White said.
The gang unit was requested to the scene.
