
Suspect arrested at Burger King.A man was arrested Aug. 23 after he was reported by employees of Burger King, 1010 W. Colfax Ave. Denver Police learned that the suspect was standing in front of the store attempting to sell gift cards and did not buy anything. When he was asked to leave, he refused, prompting the call to police.
“Wild” man observed at 7-10 Mart.The clerk at the 7-10 Mart, 7200 E. Colfax Ave., called Denver Police Aug. 24 after a deranged man entered the store and began acting oddly. The man refused to leave and began turning over shelves. When Denver Fire arrived, the suspect began to crawl around the store on all fours. He was subdued by police and taken to the hospital.
Loud muffler leads to arrest.On Aug. 26, a man was arrested after driving around South Platte River Drive with a loud, non-stock modified muffler. Upon contact with Denver Police, the suspect provided a suspended license and had no proof of insurance.
Suspect breaks into house, leaves beer cans. A woman called Denver Police on Aug. 24 to report that she had a break-in at her residence on the 4100 block of Clay Street. The victim told police that the suspect pried open the rear security and left some empty beer cans behind when he fled out the back door.
Man kicks glass at 7-Eleven. A man kicked the front door and broke the glass Aug. 25 at 7-Eleven, 1090 Ogden St., after an argument with the clerk. The clerk called Denver Police, who responded and learned that the suspect fled. Police were unable to view the security tape.
