Colorado Springs police arrested a man with a loaded AK-47 assault rifle and two fully loaded high-capacity clips in the lobby of the Staybridge Suites early Saturday.
At 5:40 a.m., officers responded to a call that an armed man was acting in a threatening manner while pacing the hotel lobby.
Officers observed the male in the lobby with a semi-automatic handgun in his hand.
Police then found the AK-47 assault rifle and two fully loaded high-capacity clips.
Police took Jose A. Lujan into custody. The semi-automatic weapon was reported stolen in Albuquerque, police said.
