Put a little pep in your Monday step, music thieves, and steal this song from Denver’s dance-rock delights, .

The Royal, which released its debut album on Sept. 7, has a Denver rock pedigree. Comprised of members of other popular local acts, including , , and , The Royal is the brainchild of frontman Tyler Hayden.

On break from other projects, Hayden penned sketches of songs, then enlisted the other members to help fill them out. The result is “Forever Endeavor,” an album with beats and synth to inspire booty shaking, and enough kick-assitude to be solid power pop. Perhaps most notable is Hayden’s voice. He’s got the perfect pipes of a rock frontman, able to soar through a range without sounding too pretty.
