
Harassing thief On Sept. 6, a Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Deputy responded to the 6300 block of Freeport Drive, where a woman said her bank advised her to close her account because a woman tried accessing it. When she got back home there was a harassing voicemail left for her.
Unlocked. On Sept. 5, a deputy responded to the Westridge Recreation Center, 9650 Foothills Canyon Blvd., where a man had placed his belongings in an unlocked locker and noticed they were gone when he got back. The items were valued at $116.
Bike gone. On Sept. 4, a deputy responded to Savers, 8575 Quebec St., where a man had left his bike unlocked outside the store and when he got back it was gone. He believed a young man following him through the store might have been a watch for the thief.
Strewn about. On Sept. 3, Parker police officers responded to the 11000 block of Blackwolf Drive, where a man noticed when he got back to his car items from his center console were strewn about and items were missing.
Bikes stolen. On Sept. 1, Parker police officers responded to the the 18000 block of Briargate Lane, where a woman had accidentally left her garage door open and two bicycles had been stolen.
Driving stoned. On Aug. 27, Parker police pulled over a man at the intersection of Parker Road and Main Street during a routine traffic stop. He was given a summons for possession of illegal drugs, illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unsafe vehicle and failing to present insurance.
