A motorcyclist is in critical condition after crashing into into a raised median and tumbling from the bike on Smoky Hill Road late Saturday night.
The man failed to negotiate a curve in the road as he was heading east near South Ottawa Place at about 11:06 p.m., according to Aurora Police.
The rider was in critical condition following the accident and police said in a statement last night it was not known if he will survive. Police, who could not be reached for comment Sunday, have not yet identified the rider.
Bot&h excessive speed and alcohol are suspected and the man was not wearing a helmet.
The Aurora Police Traffic Section is conducting an investigation.
