A two-vehicle, roll-over crash at a typically busy intersection in Wheat Ridge has knotted traffic in the area.
The crash, at the intersection of West 32nd Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard happened over the noon hour, according to a Wheat Ridge Police Department spokesman.
A minivan and a pickup truck collided in the intersection about 12:20 p.m., police said on Twitter.
The truck rolled and its driver had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters. Two people involved in the crash were take to Lutheran Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
Traffic in the northbound lane of Wadsworth is backed up. Drivers should use an alternate route and avoid the area if possible.
