CEDAREDGE, Colo.—The Delta County coroner says a Cedaredge man who admitted to killing his wife during an argument in 2010 has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities say Billy Kissner shoved his wife Raelynn and threw her into the family hot tub after an argument.
According to the Montrose Daily Press ( ), charges were filed in 2012 after a family member turned over notes in which Kissner confessed to killing the 45-year-old woman. Kissner died Saturday.
Kissner pleaded guilty to manslaughter in August. He was to have been sentenced on Friday.
