
Suspects ejected for tossing food. Two men were arrested Oct. 2 after they refused to leave a Pilot Truck Stop, 4640 Steele St. The men were asked to leave by security after they spit and threw food on the premises. The men were arrested by Denver Police.
Lots of pot plants stolen. On Oct. 4, Denver Police responded to the Mile High Dispensary, 54 Lipan St., on a report of a robbery. Police learned upon arrival that a suspect had pried open the back doors and removed 14 marijuana plants from the store. The suspect also attempted to damage recording equipment, but police got a make and model of the car.
Purse swiped at Armida’s. A woman called Denver Police on Oct. 5 after her purse was stolen at Armida’s, 840 Lincoln St. The woman told police that her purse was hanging on the back of her chair when a suspect approached and took the purse without her seeing. The suspect fled the restaurant in an unknown direction.
Disturbance at McDonald’s. The manager of McDonald’s, 200 16th St., called Denver Police on Oct. 7 because of an incident with a customer. The manager asked a customer to leave because his girlfriend had made a mess and not ordered food. The suspect then began shouting at the manager.
Victim’s wallet stolen from apron. On Oct. 8, a man called Denver Police after his wallet was stolen at a bus stop in the 1700 block of Curtis Street. The victim told police that he had removed his wallet from an apron he was wearing to take out bus fare. When he replaced the wallet, the suspect pulled the wallet out of the apron and ran.
