DENVER—One person is dead after Denver firefighters found a body in the stairwell of an abandoned home.
Denver Fire Department spokesman Mark Watson said the windows were boarded up when they arrived to fight a fire on Tuesday.
The victim has not been identified and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
