BRIGHTON, Colo.—A former Brighton police officer has been acquitted of charges he used excessive force on a homeowner.
Jurors took less than three hours to find Justin Henninger innocent of assault, harassment and official misconduct charges.
According to the Denver Post ( ), police were called to a home in 2011 to check out reports of underage drinking. Henninger was accused of manhandling the handcuffed homeowner during an arrest.
