To celebrate her company’s move to the Aurora Cultural Arts District, Denver dance maven Kim Robards has choreographed the new work “Aurora.” And what better way to kick off the 27th season of Kim Robards Dance than with a free performance and open house at the new venue? The Oct. 19 “Ignite the Light” show doubles as a voluntary-donation benefit for the company that, like all metro area dance organizations, can use all the funding love it can get. To sweeten the deal Robards is also offering live music by Scott Roush and the Barre Flies, free hors d’oeuvres and free drinks from Mu Brewery.
