The popular Denver restaurant Sushi Den has responded to allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination, calling the claims unfounded.

In a complaint filed and Izakaya Den, four female employees alleged they were the victims of harassment from the owners and other male employees.

Attorneys for Sushi Den responded with a statement, stating, in part: “A very small number of (Sushi Den’s) many employees are making these allegations even after an independent third-party investigator reviewed the facts and found allegations of systemic discrimination or harassment against female employees to be unsubstantiated.”

According to the complaint, female employees at the restaurants at 1487 S. Pearl St. are sexually harassed by male employees, passed over for promotions and consistently insulted by the owner in front of customers.
