DENVER—The family of a teen killed in an avalanche while he was skiing at Vail Mountain last year has failed to reach an agreement in a lawsuit.
Authorities say 13-year-old Taft Conlin was killed when he was buried in snow by an avalanche in 2012 while skiing at the resort.
James Heckbert, an attorney for the parents, said details of the mediation on Thursday are confidential.
According to the Denver Post (), the case is scheduled for trial in June.
