LOUISVILLE, Colo.—A horse that fell into a well in Louisville had some minor scrapes to his legs and head when firefighters and sheriff officials managed to pull him out.

The owner of the horse named Rocket tells the Daily Camera ( ) the animal is “the most accident prone horse I’ve ever known” and noted he recently got tangled in a fence.

Authorities say this time Rocket left his enclosure and got trapped in a nearby well. He was found around 7:30 a.m. Monday, but it’s possible he had been there for hours. He was showing signs of hypothermia, but was able to walk on his own to his barn after he was rescued.

Rocket’s owner says his injuries appear minor.
