The Fairview Knights and Valor Christian Eagles claimed the top two seeds in the Class 5A state football tournament, which runs Nov. 1-30.
Fairview, which finished the regular season with a record of 8-0, received the No. 1 seed, just edging out Valor Christian by one point in the wild-card points standing. The Eagles will be looking for their fifth straight state title.
The championship game will take place at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
