GREELEY — Flynn Donoho has finished his three-year-long quest to visit every one of the lower 48 states by bicycle to promote cancer research. His trip ended in Cheyenne, and Thursday he was in Greeley before heading home to California.
“I’m still partying,” he said of the completion of his journey, the last leg of which began in January. “I’ve been partying since.”
Donoho took three separate trips, each one lasting several months. The wind, snow and rain have been challenging, but he said meeting people, seeing new places and spreading the message have been too important to give up on.
His dog Diva was with him in Greeley on Thursday. She kept him company in half of the states he visited.
