Ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines began new daily service on Thursday between Denver International Airport and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The Florida-based carrier started flying between Denver and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Oct. 2012, but announced in July its plans to relocate its operations to the Phoenix area’s larger airport, Sky Harbor.

“Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport fits Spirit’s growth strategy by continuing to take customers to the big cities they want to go to, at an affordable price,” said Spirit’s vice president of network planning, Mark Kopczak, in a news release.

The airline is offering a limited fare sale for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with one-way tickets starting at about $38.
