PUEBLO — Police are investigating a bizarre home invasion and kidnapping that ended early Saturday.
Police were called to a home about 7:30 p.m. Friday in the 2900 block of Ontario Street, where they found a man beaten. He told police three men with guns forced their way into his house, put his two children, ages 2 and 5, in a closet, then beat him before taking his wife hostage.
Officer located an abandoned vehicle believed to have been used in the escape.
They later found the wife walking along Interstate 25, north of Pueblo. She was taken to a hospital.
