BOULDER, Colo.—Authorities say an explosion has destroyed a vacant house in Boulder County, but no injuries have been reported.

Neighbor Bill Mundwiller tells the Boulder Daily Camera ( ) the blast knocked him out of bed at about 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Nearby houses weren’t damaged.

The house is in an incorporated area on Boulder’s northeast side.

Sheriff’s deputies and Xcel Energy crews were at the scene Friday.
