Spanish Institute is a full-service language school offering fun, interactive and practical Spanish courses across the Front Range of Colorado.
With locations in Denver and Boulder, they provide a variety of services including group adult courses, private lessons and tutoring, before and after-school Kids Fun & Interactive Spanish, and a language immersion program in Cuenca, Ecuador. What sets Spanish Institute apart from most language schools is its curriculum. Both the Kids Fun & Interactive Spanish program and the Español Interactivo adult curriculum are developed and published in-house by a team of academic experts, graphic designers, teachers and editors. Native-speaking teachers bring the curriculum to life with a passion for education and sharing their linguistic knowledge and cultural experience with students. Most adult courses total 24 hours of classroom time, with homework and activities built into the curriculum. If the school’s regular schedule doesn’t fit, private classes with the institute are highly customizable, making them popular among parents with young children, middle or high school students seeking tutoring, working professionals and retirees. These courses are sold in eight-hour blocks and can be held at Spanish Institute locations, homes or other sites. Kids Fun & Interactive Spanish, the Institute’s elementary school program, has more than doubled in size this fall, providing language enrichment in nearly 20 schools in five different districts. Integrating storytelling, original songs and hands-on activities, their curriculum focuses on retention through immersion and teaches vocabulary that makes day-to-day practice easy.
