The New Jersey Devils won their second-straight overtime game against a team in Southern California, . Jaromir Jagr, who scored the game-tying goal in Wednesday night’s win over the Ducks, netted the game-winner halfway into the extra frame in Thursday’s win over the Kings.

Jagr’s goal, a beautiful shot that sneaked under the left pad of goalie Ben Scrivens, was his 121st game-winning goal, tying Gordie Howe for , his 690th career goal, tying him for ninth place on the all-time goals list with legend and former teammate Mario Lemieux.
