Man’s “sorta wife” returns to house. A man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 12 complaining that his estranged “sorta wife” had come to his home in the 9600 block of West Chatfield Avenue, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), with a possible gang member after having been absent for about a month. She demanded that he reactivate her phone and give her access to his cars. Police did not contact the woman.

Graffiti applied to just-painted benches. On Nov. 14, sheriff’s deputies responded to Clement Park, 7306 W. Bowles Ave., Columbine (Littleton), on a report of park benches with graffiti on them. The park supervisor told officers he had painted the benches the day before and found the graffiti that morning. He said it would cost a few hundred dollars to repaint.

Son kicks hole in parents’ wall. A man was arrested Nov. 12 after he kicked a hole in the wall at his parents’ home in the 5100 block of South Independence Street, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton). The mother said the incident escalated after she hid items in her room that she had purchased for her son. She said her son regularly smokes pot and has a history of pawning his and his family’s items.

Seven Polo shirts shoplifted. On Nov. 12, a sheriff’s deputy went to Macy’s, 8501 W. Bowles Ave., unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), after a loss prevention officer reported seeing a man take seven Polo-brand shirts, place them in a bag and leave without paying for them. The employee was unable to locate the suspect in the parking lot.
