GREELEY — Jurors on Tuesday found a Greeley man and former school employee guilty of sexually assaulting a child as someone in a position of trust and of sexual exploitation with possession of child pornography.
Clarence “Buster” Pinkstaff, 57, hung his head as the judge read the verdict to a crowded courtroom, his attorney consoling him. As police placed him in handcuffs and escorted him out of the room, he stared at the floor.
Pinkstaff, 57, and his wife were babysitting the girl and her younger brother in March 2012, the girl told police previously. She went into Pinkstaff’s home office to see what he was doing, and that’s when he put her on his lap, showed her a pornographic movie and assaulted her, according to the arrest affidavit.
