It’s neither as fussy nor as prestigious as the USA Network’s “Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show,” but it is fun. “The National Dog Show Presented by Purina” is a popular, family-friendly TV respite airing in prime time on NBC Nov. 30.
This year some 1,500 purebred canines compete for “Best in Show,” with $20,000 in prize money.
