‘s has released a tribute song for actor , who died Saturday afternoon in a Southern California car crash. Walker, best known for his roles in “The Fast and the Furious” franchise was the passenger in a Porsche that collided with a light pole killing him and the driver. Since then stars and celebrity types have been tweeting their memories of Paul Walker and condolences to his family.
The song “Destiny Bends,” is produced by RZA and his two sons and was released on his Soundcloud this weekend as a demo with Will Wells on vocals. RZA worked with Walker on the set of “Brick Mansion.”
The song is a slow and sad dirge about living life to the fullest and loving those close to you. The lyrics are tinged with RZA’s esoteric thoughts about destiny, the afterlife and the meaning of living. An accompanying note from RZA reveals he felt a kinship with Paul Walker and the two bonded over artistry and fatherhood. The track, RZA writes, is “not for criticism,” but rather the celebration of a life that obviously touched so many.
