Sunday, the Calgary Hitmen, a major juniors team in Canada, hosted a stuffed animal toss of epic proportions. The crowd of , reports the Calgary Sun. If you think it’s a record, you’d be wrong. The bears literally rained down from the stands for about 11 minutes. While the toss registered a good increase over last year’s — about 3,000 more — it fell 1,000 short of the world record for bears tossed onto the ice. And yes, the Hitmen are the record holders.
