A referee in Israel’s  wasn’t credited with helping Hapoel Jerusalem top Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv in the last minute, but he sure did help.

Jerusalem’s Yotam Halperin got a lucky bounce off the referee on a pass from teammate Derwin Kitchen that was bound for the stands with 30 seconds left and Jerusalem trailing by a point. Not only did referee Gili Oved fail to get out of the way of Kitchen’s wild pass, but he deflected the ball straight to Halperin, who nailed the game-winning 3-pointer in a 87-85 win.
