
Car window broken. A man returned home from a half-hour walk Nov. 26 and found that someone had broken the rear passenger-side window of his car in the 6900 block of South Dover Way, unincorporated Jefferson County (Littleton). He told Jeffco Sheriff’s deputies that his car was in good shape when he left for the walk. Neighbors could not be contacted to ask if they saw anything.
Woman locks man out. Deputies were called Dec. 1 to the 3600 block of South Depew Street, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), where officers learned that there was a verbal dispute between a husband and wife. When the husband stepped outside to avoid escalation, the wife locked him out. After police arrived, the husband was able to get back inside and pack a bag to leave.
Man finds cars spray-painted. On Dec. 1, deputies went to the 6100 block of South Field Street, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), when a man reported that two of his cars had been spray-painted. The victim said he had no suspects and had no disputes with any neighbors.
Burnt stick found in fuel filler neck. A man called deputies on Nov. 28 after he found his car’s gas cap open with a 12-inch stick with a burnt tip inside the fuel filler neck in the 9400 block of West Ontario Drive, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton). The car was not damaged.
Alcohol fuels dispute. On Dec. 1, deputies went to the 3600 block of South Pierce Street, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), after a dispute over drinking erupted between a couple. The dispute was not physical.
