Skate Show
Keystone Resort’s Holiday Ice Skating Show is Jan. 4-5. Put on by the Denver Figure Skating Club, this free family event takes place in Lakeside Village at Keystone Lake.
Gold Rush
Frisco’s Gold Rush Weekend is Jan. 10-11. The festivities kick off in the afternoon with a free Charlie Chaplin movie matinee, followed by competitive and fun ski races all day Saturday.
Winterfest
Winterfest at Durango Mountain Resort is Jan. 17-20. The three-day festival encourages beginners to try out winter activities and sports like ice climbing, dog sledding, snowshoeing and Nordic ice skiing, at a discounted rate. A Torchlight Parade celebrates the weekend on the evening of Jan. 18. Prices for snow sports and activities vary.
Eat, Drink!
Beaver Creek Food & Wine Weekend takes place Jan. 23-26. The event includes four days of food and wine programs like meals with guest chefs, beer pairing lunches, a grand tasting event and a celebrity ski race. Ticket prices per event vary.
