Broomfield-based ., which provides environmental, nuclear and technical consulting to federal and private-sector clients, has been acquired by .
Stoller has provided environmental and technical support to the U.S. government and nuclear-power industry for more than 54 years.
The value of the transaction was not announced.
Stoller will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Huntington, which is based in Newport News, Va., and will operate under its Newport News Shipbuilding division.
NNS is a designer, builder and refueler of nuclear-powered aircraft carriers and provides fleet services for naval ships.
Stoller president Nick Lombardo said the company “is pleased and honored to be a part of the (Hunt-ington) family of companies.”
“We believe that the combined entity will provide unparalleled service to our clients and excellent career opportunities for our staff,” Lombardo said in a prepared statement.
