U.S. 85 is closed in both directions south of Platteville because of a traffic accident, the Colorado Department of Transportation posted on its Twitter account Sunday night.
Details about the crash were not available immediately.
The highway closed just before 10:30 p.m., and there is no estimated time for it to reopen.
CDOT stated that in the incident involved downed power lines.
