
Long-ago tow. A woman reported the theft of her vehicle from the Jefferson County Administration and Courts Facility, 100 Jefferson County Parkway, to Golden police on Dec. 21. The officer determined that the woman had been incarcerated for 40 days and her car was towed Dec. 2.
Hotel for the holidays. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to Quality Suites, 29300 U.S. 40, Evergreen, on Dec. 25 after a woman reported a physical altercation between her husband and son. The family had been drinking a lot when the son got upset, yelled “You is gonna make me,” and started fighting his father. Deputies found the son outside the hotel, intoxicated. He was taken to a detox facility.
A bad turn. A deputy reported that a sedan turning east onto Colorado 74 in Evergreen on Dec. 25 failed to negotiate the turn. The officer swerved to avoid a head-on collision but was still hit by the other vehicle, which continued driving. The driver was pulled over and turned over to the State Patrol.
Aggravated grocery. A deputy went to King Soopers, 25637 Conifer Road, Conifer, on Dec. 25 after reports of a man yelling at random people in the store. The officer found the man, who said he was angry at something he overheard someone say. The officer issued the man a summons.
No pink handgun. On Dec. 27, a woman reported to deputies an aggressive driver on northbound U.S. 285 near the Morrison exit she said had a pink handgun. The driver was contacted, but said she did not own such a gun.
