After pushing the album back from its original Dec. 17 release date, has announced that March 4 will hopefully be the day he actually drops “Mastermind.”
Ross shared the release date with a teaser video today — which obviously featured dramatic shots of stacks of money.
In early December Ross explained the delayed release of “Mastermind”
“I’m still putting the final touches on the album. You know me, making that classic is more important than anything. Making sure the streets are overwhelmed with what I am doing is what is most important. I’m gonna try to get it to you, and if I don’t, I’ll get it to you ASAP.”
The rapper has already shared a number of tracks from the upcoming album, including “The Devil is a Lie” and “No Games.”
In other good Rick Ross news, that allowed him to keep his name, which comes from the 1980s drug kingpin.
