“In Colorado, we don’t let a little snow scare us,” says an AEG Live press release. Crews are working to clear snow from the venue for the show that starts at 7 p.m. on Friday. Concert promoters have even enlisted the help of fans to help ready Red Rocks for the night.
Host of the event, Icelantic Skis, posted on its Facebook page on Thursday evening an offer of free tickets for the first 100 people to show up to help shovel the venue.
“THE FIRST 100 PEOPLE TO SHOW UP TO RED ROCKS TOMORROW WITH A SNOW SHOVEL WHO ARE READY TO CLEAR THE VENUE WILL GET FREE ADMISSION INTO THE SHOW.
Check in with Sam tomorrow morning at 10AM at the Upper North Parking Lot to be eligible.
Let’s Go COLORADO!!! Time to Rock those Rocks!!!”
AEG Live is warning fans that it will be a cold night and recommends dressing warmly, bringing snow boots, pants, gloves, hats and “the warmest coat you own.”
“Take care of each other and look after your friends. Together we are going to have an awesome show in a winter wonderland!” the press release says.
Tonight’s lineup includes Jurassic 5 and Ghostland Observatory.
