Woman cited after shouting at building. On Jan. 25, Denver Police responded to an incident at an apartment complex on the 1000 block of West 14th Avenue. Police found an intoxicated woman out front who was reportedly screaming at the building. The reporting party said the woman had already been thrown out and told not to return. The woman said she was trying to visit a friend and go to sleep.

Man punched, robbed at RTD stop. A man called Denver Police on Jan. 22 after he was assaulted and robbed at the Park-n-Ride at 12300 E. Albrook Drive. The victim said a homeless man he knew walked up and began talking to him while another man approached, punched him in the face, demanded his wallet and threatened to shoot him. The victim gave up the items and ran.

Suspect arrested for posing as U.S. Marshal. On Jan. 25, a man was arrested after a victim told Denver Police that the suspect had posed as a U.S. Marshal and robbed him. The victim told police that he agreed to meet the suspect at a Motel 6, 3050 W. 49th Ave., but when he arrived, the suspect said he was under arrest and took him to a room where he was held down by three women and robbed. The man was arrested, but charges were dropped due to inaccuracies.

Inmate damages sprinkler in jail cell. A man was cited Jan. 26 after he damaged the sprinkler in his cell at the Denver Detention Center, 490 W. Colfax Ave. Police reported the man damaged the sprinkler, causing it to dump large amounts of water into his cell. The damage was estimated at $600.
