Big fun with bighorns
Head to Colorado Springs for the ninth annual Bighorn Sheep Day on Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors using high-power telescopes can watch the mountain mammals in their natural habitat. Festivities include guided nature walks, animals from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, children’s activities including games and crafts, presentations, door prizes and refreshments.
